The furniture series is created to evoke quite simple feelings In the process there has been a main parameter to reach a very pure expression by using the the male and the female part of the brain.

 

In other words take very male geometric expressions and feminize them to create a feeling that stands clearly between the two perceptions, all together to provoke astonishment and joy.

 

Simplicity, Functionalism and Minimalism are all cornerstones in the Scandinavian design tradition.

In the process of designing the Series, the ambition has been to create a range of furniture that stand out as a clear reflection and manifestation of these elements.

 

Taking off from Nordic Design tradition, the ambition of the Series is creating a Series furniture of uncompromised functionality and exclusiveness.

 

More specifically; balancing Function, Form and Aesthetics, creating a range of designs

with innovative handling, form and geometry yet unseen to the industry.

All bringing together a feeling of curiosity, luxury and originality, this range reflects an understanding of architecture as well as a bold artistic appearance.

 

The design process of Gneiss Group is aided by using context specific focus groups that include interior design consultants, architects, consumers/end users, and stylists. This means each solution draws its strength from a thoroughly researched and contextually unique approach in securing a strategically strong position in terms of capturing market demands.
